Jefferson Elementary was built in 1956 and remodeled in 1996. It is the southernmost school site in the Mount Vernon School District. We serve students from TK through fifth grade.

Jefferson is home two MVSD magnet programs; QUEST, which is for students with special behavioral needs and Voyager which is for students that are identified as highly capable.

Our school greenhouse is a centerpiece of our school culture. All students have access to it through STEM and many additional opportunities exist through after school clubs.

Our library enhances teachers and students academics by integrating technology in many aspects of school.

We take pride in our students and hold all of our students to high academic and behavioral expectations.
