School Board Position Open
The search for a replacement director to be appointed in School Board District #2 is underway. Director Coffee is resigning short of his current term. The Director District #2 roughly includes the northeast quadrant of the City. The northern edge follows the border of the school district from Riverside Drive to the east edge of the district. The west boundary runs from approximately Hoag Rd., south on Riverside Dr. to Fir Street. The south boundary is on Fir Street from Riverside Drive to LaVenture Rd., then north to College Way and then east to the School District boundary.

Summer School
We are excited to offer a variety of summer school opportunities to our students this summer. Our goal is to build upon the year's academic growth, provide art and social emotional learning, as well as credit retrieval. Our programs are in full swing and students are already learning so much.
Free meals for children

La búsqueda de un director de reemplazo para el Distrito #2 de la Junta Escolar está en marcha. La Junta Directiva Escolar de Mount Vernon invita a los residentes del Distrito #2 de la Junta Escolar a solicitar un nombramiento para la Junta Escolar. El Director del District #2 incluye aproximadamente el cuadrante noreste de la ciudad. El borde norte sigue el límite del distrito escolar desde Riverside Drive hasta el borde este del distrito escolar. El límite oeste va desde aproximadamente Hoag Rd., hacia el sur en Riverside Dr. hasta Fir Street. Estamos emocionados de ofrecer una variedad de oportunidades de escuela de verano a nuestros estudiantes este verano. Nuestro objetivo es aprovechar el crecimiento académico del año, brindar arte y aprendizaje socioemocional, así como recuperar créditos. Nuestros programas están en pleno apogeo y los estudiantes ya están aprendiendo mucho.
